The ILEC International Legal English Certificate is the Cambridge proficiency exam to test candidates ability to communicate using English in a legal environment. This exam is highly useful to candidates who wish show a proven level of proficiency in order to progress their career.
Our past candidates have come from a variety of backgrounds including university students, partners in international law firms, junior solicitors, legal translators state advocates, government ministers and other candidates who as part of their career may need to show a certain level of proficiency when communicating using legal english.
The exam is divided into four different sections consisting of reading, listening, speaking and writing. The subjects covered by the Cambridge syllabus include, commercial law, contracts, employment, real property, intellectual property and competition (amongst others).
We have developed a syllabus with a proven track record of success in preparing our candidates for the ILEC course. Our courses are either for 14 hours or 30 hours, depending on the candidates existing level of proficiency. Details of our current upcoming courses are in our blog post here.
This course is to prepare candidates for the ILEC exam on 25th January 2013. Please note that the final day for registration for the exam is 28th November 2013. We provide students with two options either a 30 hour course every Monday and Wednesday between 8 and 10pm starting Wednesday 25th September or a more intensive 14 hour course (every Tuesday) between 8 and 10pm starting on 1st October .
At present we are offering a discounted rate of only 199 euros for the 14 hour course and only 349 euros for the 30 hour course.
